About
I’m a Christian, husband (of one wife – Sarah), father (of two – David & Rachel).
I’m a Reader at Holy Trinity Church, Norwich. I have professional qualifications in Adult Nursing and Learning Disability Nursing and academic qualifications in education and management. My day job is lecturing in the School of Nursing & Midwifery, University of East Anglia.
I love mountains, music and all things theological.
I hate nuts, being bored, and one-sided arguments.
I’d like to use this blog to offer a digest of Christian comment. I’m not a theological scholar in any formal sense, but I like to read and think as widely as I can about all aspects of the Christian faith. Much of what I present here will be distilled from my reading. Readers will see that I favour classical evangelical and reformed perspectives on many issues. Where I express disagreement with others, I hope that I do so courteously and fairly.

Do visit my Bible Study Notes. They’re a compilation of verse-by-verse notes, with copious quotes from my favourite Christian writers and commentators, both old and new.
